One of the reasons the show works so well is how it handles horses. While Amy’s “Miracle Girl” talents can occasionally feel a bit exaggerated—she seems to master everything from barrel racing to liberty training—the show gets a lot of the details right.

From training issues to physical injuries, the series covers real-world equine challenges that actual horse owners can appreciate.

But it isn’t just about horses; it’s about people. Watching Ty evolve from a troubled teenager into a responsible partner, or seeing Amy and Lou navigate their sisterly relationship, feels very genuine. It is a story about healing, both for the animals and the people who care for them.
