Sasha Alexander is stepping into Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer as FBI Agent Dawn Ruth — a role built to shake up Mickey Haller’s world and push the story into sharper territory.

The character brief is blunt: Ruth is “no nonsense” and “intimidating,” the kind of federal presence who doesn’t soften her edges. According to Netflix, she and a colleague cut into Mickey’s dinner just to warn him off his FBI investigation — not politely, not indirectly.

A New Roadblock in Mickey Haller’s Path

Season 4 adapts Michael Connelly’s The Law of Innocence, with co-showrunner Dailyn Rodriguez confirming the direction in a Variety interview. Season 3 ended on a cliff, and with no premiere date yet, casting news is the only breadcrumb trail fans have.

The returning cast remains familiar: Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller, alongside Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson and Yaya DaCosta. The series, developed by David E.
