Heartland Fans Reveal Their Favorite Moments — (It's All Amy & Ty)

You told us your top Heartland moments—and nearly every one is Amy and Ty.

When we asked Heartland fans to share their most unforgettable moments from the show’s early seasons, we expected a mix—emotional scenes, family breakthroughs and maybe a few standout horse rescues. But what we got was even more moving. Fans overwhelmingly pointed to Amy Fleming and Ty Borden, and the responses speak for themselves.

While the love for the entire Bartlett-Fleming clan runs deep, the responses revealed an overwhelming and heartwarming consensus. As the votes and comments came in, it became beautifully clear: for so many of you, Heartland is—and always will be—about Amy and Ty.

Their connection wasn’t flashy or rushed. It took time. It was built through quiet glances, tough conversations, and shared work in the stables. Through grief, healing, love, and loss, Amy and Ty didn’t just grow up on the ranch—they grew up together. And somehow, that made their relationship feel all the more real.

Set against the wild beauty of Alberta’s foothills, their story anchored everything else around it. As fans remembered their favorite moments, the same scenes kept coming up: Ty comforting Amy through heartbreak. Amy riding Spartan, trusting him again. Their first kiss. Their wedding. The birth of their daughter.

The votes weren’t just about nostalgia—they were about what Heartland means to people. And again and again, it came back to them.

But now we want to hear more.

Which Amy and Ty scene hits you hardest? Was it one of the big ones—or something quiet and easily missed? A look, a line, a moment that just stuck with you?

Drop your favorite in the comments and let’s keep the conversation going. This show means something different to everyone—and that’s what makes it so special.

The scene i remember is when Amy was running spartan in the round pen and she yelled it's not my fault we were just trying to help you. Then it was great how Amy and Spartan joined up!

Amy and Ty together was authentic all 13 seasons. It felt real, it was real and they made Heartland real! I never seen or feel a movie so real that was fictional. Amy and Ty’s relationship was outstanding and Heartland (seasons 1 through 13) will stand as the best. Love them both! PAWT

  7. Lori Clark says:

The ultimate engagement under the falling star I one of my favorite moments but really all of the quiet moments, the way he looks at her a gently wraps his arms around her. The chemistry between them, and their love story seems so real and is like no other in a TV series.

  8. Lori Clark says:

That moment in the barn when he said "I would do anything for you, Amy". The falling star . proposal. The swing Ty built and his description of their dream house .

    1. Kathy Campbell says:

Heartland needs to fix this! Nothing past season 13 is working! I know Graham doesn’t want to come back, and it’s sad that Robert Cormier passed. He was great! Those two had the same temperament. But Nathan doesn’t work!

  9. CYNTHIA HARRIS says:

    I loved the wedding.
